Straight answers on wraps, PPF and ceramic from the bay in Molendinar. Anything else goes in the notes on your quote request.

How long does a wrap last?
Each film maker publishes an outdoor durability rating for every range, and that rating is the honest answer for your film. We write the film's brand, range and code on your quote so you can check it. Roofs and bonnets cop the most Gold Coast sun, so they age first.
Will a wrap or PPF damage my paint?
On sound factory paint, film comes off cleanly within its rated life. Resprays, failing clear coat and chips are different: film can lift loose paint when it comes off. We look at the paint with you under light before we quote and tell you if anything is a risk.
Can you wrap over stone chips and scratches?
Film follows the surface, so deep chips and dents show through. Light marks often disappear under a gloss film; deeper damage needs touching up first. You hear which is which at the inspection, before any money changes hands.
PPF or ceramic, or both?
PPF is a physical layer that takes stone chips instead of your paint. Ceramic is a hard, slick coating that keeps gloss and makes washing easy, but it does not stop chips. A common pairing is PPF on the front and ceramic over the whole car, including the film.
Can I wrap a leased or financed car?
A wrap is reversible, which is why plenty of people wrap leased cars. Check your lease or finance terms first; some ask to be told. When the car goes back, we can take the film off.
How long will you have my car?
Typically: colour change 4 to 6 working days, PPF front package 2 to 3 working days, chrome delete 1 working day, ceramic 1 to 2 working days. Your quote has the exact days.
Does the colour on screen match the film?
Close, not exact. Screens and the Wrap Studio approximate the colour. At the inspection you see the real sample against your car in daylight before you choose.
Do you wrap the door shuts?
If you want them. Wrapping the jambs hides the old colour when the doors are open, and it takes longer, so it is quoted as its own line.
Is the price on the website the price I pay?
The site shows starting estimates. Your written quote, after we see the car, is the number. Size, condition, trim count and the film you pick move it. Nothing is charged before you accept the quote.
How do I wash a wrapped car?
By hand with a pH-neutral wash, keep a pressure wand well back from the edges, and give the film its first week to settle before the first wash. You get the full aftercare in the bay at handover.
Should I tell my insurer?
Yes. A colour change or added film can matter to your policy. Your invoice lists the film by brand, range and code, which is what an insurer will ask for.
