A from-price assumes a gloss, satin or matte film from the standard ranges, on a standard body in sound paint. Chrome, colour-shift and textured films, door shuts, paint repairs and extra trim removal are quoted on top, in writing, before any work starts.

What moves the number

Five things set your quote.

  • Size. A small hatch uses far less film and time than a dual-cab ute or a van.
  • Condition. Chips, failing clear coat and old film have to be dealt with before anything goes on.
  • Trim count. More badges, handles and lights to remove means more hours, and a cleaner result.
  • Film. Chrome and some colour-shift films cost more and take longer to lay than gloss or satin.
  • Door shuts. Wrapping the jambs hides the old colour when the doors are open. Quoted separately.
